I will be visiting New York next week and I'm seeking some restaurant recommendations.
My plans are still being firmed up, but most likely Brooklyn Heights will be home base for the week. In addition to taking in some Broadway shows, I am planning visits to the Cloisters in Fort Tyron Park, The Andy Goldsworthy rooftop installation at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, MOMA's PS1 in Long Island City and Janet Cardiff's audio walk in Central Park.
Any lunch and dinner recommendations convenient to those areas would be greatly appreciated. I'm open to all types of cuisine. The more creative the better. I like new and notable places as well as old standbys that are still on top of their game. I'm mostly looking for moderately priced or inexpensive places. But if its a life changing meal, I'm willing to pay accordingly.
Thanks in advance for your help If I can be of any assist regarding Chicago chow, just say the word.
