I love this polish restaurant.

I go there with large and small groups often. It is on 2nd and Lincoln and looks like a clapboard house with white curtains from the outside with twinkling lights.

Inside, candles, white walls, different rooms, great vintage polish posters and perfect vodka martinis. We usually start with bacon-wrapped plums with candied walnuts and with light-as-air potato pancakes with plum applesauce and sour cream. Great salads as well. Then perfect lightly-fried white cheese and chive perogies, asparagus dumplings, stuffed cabbage, schnitzel, lamb dumplings and beef stroganoff are all entree choices to die for.

For dessert we manage to stuff in a few nibbles of lemon crepe with rasberry sauce.

This is a relaxed restaurant - great for mom and dad and for younger folks. Great for dates. It is romantic and classy but not trendy. Never too busy.

Highly recommended.
