WARNING : Macy's chocolate eclairs (don't buy them)

Do not, under any circumstances, buy the chocolate eclairs at Macy's Cellar bakery. They are way over-priced at $3.75, but that's not the problem. The problem is that they're horrible. I was expecting the usual custard or whipped cream filling, but noooooo! They had to get creative and come up with this weird, tasteless, watery, COFFEE something. Maybe they were going for tiramisu. I don't know, but it was God-awful. And as if that weren't bad enough, the clerk gave me a hard time when i tried to return it. She acted as if i should have somehow known it was filled with coffee custard (???) when it was labeled "chocolate eclairs". Then she told me that the filling was chocolate, not coffee. Finally, she exchanged it for something else, but insisted that i wait for the chef to speak with me. He, too, didn't seem to think anything was wrong with the offending pastry. Chowhounds everywhere, i know whereof i speak: Whatever you do, don't buy these eclairs!!
