Need Waltham Wine Store rec's, and more.

I've been pressed into service (from far away Atlanta) to make a guest chef appearance for Thanksgiving in Whelan.

This includes not only shopping and cooking, but wine procurement too.

1. Are there any really good wine stores in the Waltham vicinity?

2. My hosts have arranged for an organic turkey from Whole Foods and suggested I get everything else there, too. Whole Foods' stuff is nice, but I don't like bake-off bread, their selection in general is limited and california centric, and most aggravating--virtually everything is pricey. For example, one of the things I'll have to find on Tue is a ten pound bag of chicken leg quarters to make stock on Wed (how to cook gravy and stuffing without stock I don't want to imagine). here at home I can generally find these cheap outside of supermarkets in upscale areas. So any and all Waltham area alternative shopping suggestions for baguettes/breads,produce etc are most appreciated.
