Visiting from NY with 7 year old

We lived in Seattle for 13 years and are looking forward to revisiting some favorites, but also exploring some new places and looking for advice on kid-friendly restaurants. Our daughter is very well-behaved and not too picky an eater. We are NOT looking for "hot spots" where we have to hang out for an hour in the hope of getting a table. Places with good lunch or early evening availability would work best.

Favourites from our time in Seattle - Nishino, Cafe Campagne/Campagne, Wild Ginger (before the move from Western), Rovers, Lampreia (RIP), Pirosmani, Shanghai Garden (pea vines!) to name but a few.

Is Canlis worth the splurge for food? We know the view is fabulous. We love Eleven Madison Park in NYC, which is the alma mater of the current head chef I believe.

Mistral Kitchen looks interesting and varied. Any opinions? We visited the old space and enjoyed the meal.

We are coming July 31. Are any of the Alaskan salmon still running? That's the one thing from Seatown that is hard to get here :-(

Thanks in advance. Looking forward to it, yes even the Mariners game we have tix for...
