Vineyard, 2 big hits

Had a nice weekend on MV, and hit 2 places we really enjoyed. Mediterranean is new, used to Ipanema, and something else, too, but now it has a new owner and chef, formerly from Grill 23 in Boston. Very romantic, we sat with the waves outside our table making a nice sound, the music was terrific for dinner, Sinatra, etc...food was great. I had a spicy cod dish with potatoes and wife had a terrific lamb, cooked just right. and dessert was a cobbler, a little too much pastry and less fruit, but we ate every bit of it. Really enjoyed dinner, for about $100. Next night, looking more casual, we hit an institiion apparently. Jimmy Seas I think it's called in Oak Bluffs. Garlic heaven, great Italian food. family style. Huge pasta dishes, but delicious. We split a big dish of pesto linguini with chicken and shrimp and brocolli added in. Wow. great stuff. We ate at the bar, because long line, and it was a blast. Highly recommend.
