A recent post on the LA board (see link) got me craving the Viet specialties generally known as nem nuong and banh beo. The LA post describes these dishes for newbies and links to some photos. I'm not really a veteran myself since I've only had nem nuong a couple of times and never had banh beo that I recall.
An archival search had some mentions of Anh Hong in Milpitas as possibly having nem, and Vung Tau (SJ and Milpitas) has a type of nem on their current menu. Website: www.vungtaurestaurant.com
Anyone try the nem at Anh Hong or Vung Tau? Any updates on nem in the South Bay? How about banh beo? Bonus if they're in the same place. Thanks for your help.
