In tons of places (bagel shops in particular) in
New York you can get something they call Vegetarian
Chopped Liver. It's made sometimes with peas,
sometimes walnuts, I think there are a dozen variants.
Delis carry packaged varieties as well, and I'm
wondering if somewhere like Chicago with a pretty
big Jewish population has this too. I haven't
found it. Nu?
btw, a brand I bought in New York is called sabra
salads, and they have other stuff from sabra salads
(baba ghanouj, etc) at Jewel, but dammit I want
