I'm making the Vanilla Bean Cupcakes with Salted Caramel Frosting that were on this site for a birthday party.
I had an idea but I'm coming to you, CH'ers for a guess as to whether it'd work or not.
I want to frost them, and then sprinkle some vanilla sugar on top, and torch the sugar, like a brulee. Would it work? or would it just melt the frosting?
And if it would work, do you think it would be too many things going on???
