I received a nice little cannister of Urfa Biber over the holidays and find it amazingly versatle, as well as delicious.
It has a nice smoky (almost anise like) flavor with what tastes like a hint of black treacle.
Many of you may have this as part of your pantry, but it was definitely new to me.
So far, I've done the following with Urfa Biber:
1. Dark Chocolcate Ice Cream (blended Urfa Biber in with 90% Lindt Dark along with some ginger)
2. Garnish on pasta dishes
3. Gingersnap cookies
