Hi everyone! I'm seriously trying to cross my fingers while I type... i'm hoping someone here can help me.
Yesterday I watched an episode of unique sweets from my DVR - it must have recorded that day though or Sunday... Anyway... it was an episode about small bites.
There was a greek bakery on the show call Artocracy I think... and they make a dessert that I love! I haven't been able to figure out the name or find a recipe for it though... for years!
The pastry is made with a dough that contains vodka. You stretch out the dough, then fry it, and then drizzle it with a honey syrup or powdered sugar.
Does this ring a bell for anyone? I love this dessert and haven't been able to find it anywhere in the U.S. I'm just hoping someone here knows the name and/or how to make it. Or better yet, can i ordered it from somewhere? :-)
