As a Manhattan resident, I'm looking for authentic neighborhood experiences, something our borough is losing. Not "a good Italian in Park Slope" but "You have to eat at Roberto's in the Bronx before you die."
In Manhattan, it's places like Katz' deli. (I couldn't care less about the 1000 yuppie places that serve Free Range Chicken, Chilean Sea Bass, and some sort of penne.)
Di Fara's Pizza
Totonno's Pizza (in Coney Island)
most of the famous places in Howard Beach
most of the famous places on Arthur Avenue
best Russian in Brighton Beach?
best Greek in Astoria?
other classic Outer Borough experiences?
