My family is coming to town -- or should I say, invading my life -- this weekend. My parents are forcing my roommate and I out of our rooms and are ensuring that I play hostess to both them and four of our Israeli cousins -- also, four of the loudest Israelis you've ever known. And if you know Israelis, you know that's saying A LOT. Anyway, they want a restaurant near Central Park that isn't too pricey. Since they're kibbutzniks and don't own any other pants besides jeans, they could care less about a fancy, impressive spot.
I picked Uncle Nick's (not the tapas bar), as it appears to have good, affordable Greek food, and it doesn't seem like it attracts the type of crowd that would be incensed by my family's complete and utter lack of volume control.
Has anyone, how you say... been? Good? No? Eh?
