I"ve seen some people criticize Brick Lane Curry (named after the London equivalent of NYC's 6th street or Curry Hill) as being "too British" and not authentically Indian. I've never been to India, but I can safely say the best Indian food I've ever had was in London. I like Brick Lane, particularly their prawn balchao, my favorite Goan dish. I took out last night from Banjara and asked for something spicy. I got the lamb balti which delightfully cleared my sinuses.
