Just had our 3rd dinner at Primo in 8 weeks, and the food and service has gotten even better with each visit. Highlights: the gigantic arancini has now morphed into 4 small crispy balls; the tiny crab cake amuse bouche was outstanding, as was the burnt onion foccacia and the beef/lamb/pork meatloaf special.

Ocotillo is only open for Saturday dinners during the summer, and their rib eye steak was much more flavorful and cheaper than any steak from Fleming's or McMahon's, and their Society Shrimp Salad was a good as ever.

While Hubby and I loved the atmosphere and service at Jano's, the food was hit-and-miss. We each ordered different tasting menus (everything sounded unusual and tempting) and the hits were: lamb's tongue taco (meltingly tender, delicious - worthy of my Top Ten Alltime Faves); chocolate ice cream (really spicy, and paired w/ a great sandie cookie); three flans, especially the mint-pepper one. The misses included: ceviches that were more like sashimi (especially when compareed to the fantastic ceviche samplers at Deseo in the Westin Kierland Scottsdale); too-sweet Barbacoa; too-sweet filet; greasy blue cornsticks. My hubby wont' return, but I'll have to sneak back for a plateful of lamb tongue tacos, and maybe give Janos a kiss!
