Trip Tips for Next Week (Breakfast/Dinner)/Frontera & Timing

Hello,

I'm coming to Chicago next week and would love some dinner recommendations.

My friend and I plan on having sit down meals at breakfast and dinner and then snacking throughout the day so we can look at more places.

We're staying at the Holiday Inn near Navy Pier. Where are some good breakfast places near there or near the places we're planning on going (Field Museum, Art Institute, Science Museum)? I'm hoping to go to Orange on Harrison on the day we go to the Art Insitute.

For dinner, Frontera Grill and Cafe Spiaggia are two places that interest me. If we went to Frontera on a Sunday, Monday, Tues, or Wed night around 7 or 8, how long do you think we'd have to wait? Chilpancingo and Ixcapuzalco also sound good, although I'm worried that Ixcapuzalco might be too far out of the way for night time. How much do you think a cab would cost between there and the hotel? Another night, I'd like to have deep-dish pizza - I'm thinking of Lou Malnati's.

What are some other good places near the Mag Mile or other places that're safe and would be easy to get a cab back to the hotel? I don't want anything too expensive (Frontera & Cafe Spiaggia would be splurging). Greektown might be good. I also like Asian/Indian food. I'd be interested in a reasonably priced French restaurant.

Also, has anyone tried the new Mindy Segal place "Hot Chocolate" that opened a few weeks ago? How expensive would a cab btw the Bucktown area and my hotel be?

Thanks so much and sorry so long,
Alison
