Tri-State area of Connecticut is not "Southeastern, CT!"

Just speaking for myself; I've complained about this typo as far back as 10-08. So, here we are, at least a year later. Many have complained:

Misposted thread because of CT/ Tri-State description:

If you were to get "Tri-State CT" right (that you are talking about Southwestern CT), where would that area end? Norwalk? Farther east? It's totally nebulous right now with the typo!
This is said to be low priority, but it would take just a few minutes to fix the typo. I agree redefining or fixing the other issues will take a lot longer.

If Rochester is in the Tri-State board then why isn't all of CT and NJ, as well? This post states that almost all of New York State is in the Tri-state region! http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/6496...
This just seems like weird policy to me. It's confusing enough for a foreigner to come to the New York-New England area and try to understand where locals are talking about, let alone Chowhound. How about some boundaries or maps with lines, signifying what area belongs where? Obviously all of CT is not in the Tri-State area...
How about NJ? Where does north and south divide? Poor NJ: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/3772...
I just want to point out some of my and other's frustration with this thing about CT and the confusion about where to post and then where to look for it when you search!
