in two words, don't bother.
when i called for a reservation were told ('you have 1.5 hours). Talk about feeling like they are doing the client a favour allowing them to eat there
Arrived and it took 15 mins for anyone to come to the table to even welcome us. ask for drinks etc.
my better half took the lobster bisque and i the scallops/shrimp (this was the best thing of the hole meal, all one piece)
main course was literally dumped on the table. or should i say thrown on the table.both my wife and myself main course was bland to say the least. I don't even remember what it was except it reminded me of shoe leather
The desert (lemon cake and choc cake) was as good as price chopper can make.
then we were 'shown the bill' with 15% already added to it (we were never told that would happen)
i don't mind paying a fix tip (but i would like to know about it before hand) and i generally actually do more (depending on the service etc).
this is where rest. can shin and get regular customers (reason we go back time and time again to the Auberge) but for trappers.... rather eat and macdonalds.
this time i would have left less.
