Trader Joe's Discontinues King Arthur Flour

OneJayneDoe | May 7, 2009 06:56 AM

Trader Joe's will no longer carry King Arthur Flour, effective as of (I think) three weeks ago. TJ's was my go to place for KAF. Yesterday, I purchased the last bag on the shelf. The King Arthur Flour has been replaced with the TJ label Baker's Pantry. The bags look very similar. I did buy a bag to test it out. I will post results once I bake something with it.

The King Arthur Flour website features an alert on their home page for their customers announcing the change, however the TJ's website does not mention the change at all.

I hate to have to spend $5.99 for a bag of flour (!) at Ralphs, Albertsons or any other grocer. That just kills me! Looks like I'll have to begin ordering from the King Arthur Website.

Meh.
