Town Hall, Lulu or Jardiniere?

Going to be visiting SF from NYC in a couple weeks for work/pleasure, and wanted to get some chowhound recommendations for one really nice dinner in the Bay Area with a fellow NYC friend that happens to be in the city on business at the sametime.

I've eaten in a handful of spots on my last two trips to the area (one several years ago and one last month) and hit notable dining establishments like Boulevard (loved it), Zuni (fab chicken), Delfina (just okay), 1150 Hyde (very good), Slanted Door (disappointingly bland), and Piperade (amazing). Hopefully, that'll give you an idea of my palate and sensibility.

After a bit of research, was thinking that Town Hall, Lulu or Jardiniere might be just the ticket. Thoughts? Other suggestions?

One caveat: Don't want to get extremely dressed up or go anywhere where we can't laugh out loud without feeling like we're interrupting a romantic couple next to us.
