This weekend, hubs and I decided to visit the ever so popular Tomahawk Restaurant for breakfast. It's been in operation in North Vancouver since 1926. The place was super busy. Not ideal for large groups. We didn't have to wait more than 2 minutes since we were a party of 2.
Food was okay, really enjoyed their yukon bacon. My hollandaise sauce was way too thick and the flour wasn't incorporated well so you can taste the powderyness of the sauce. Surprisingly their hashbrowns are frozen and not fresh. Considering how they offer free range eggs for additional pricing, why would they use frozen hash? Price range, expensive for what it's worth.
The burgers did look good and most people were ordering it so maybe next time that's what we'll do. I heard their pies are good too but since it was new chinese years and we had family dinners all weekend, we decided not to go nuts stuffying ourselves silly before the big feast. I would go again but not anytime soon.
