We are just back from a wonderful dinner here. Myself, my husband and my two young kids.
What a gem of a restaurant! I had the scallop appetizer, with an orange ginger dressing on mesclun. DH had the sausage orrichette. Both were delightful. My daughter had a green salad, with a delicious balsamic dressing.
For my entree, I had the filet mignon with a wonderful burgundy sauce, on a potato scallion pancake. DH had the paella, which he couldn't finish, but he took the rest home.
There is no children's menu, but they were more than accomodating, and served the children plain chicken cutlets (at our request), which were juicy and delicious. None of that frozen, pre-breaded stuff here.
The atmosphere is cozy and quiet. The waitstaff is delightful, always accessible, but never intrusive. The prices are more reasonable than most restaurants.
Nothing pretentious here, just really good food and service. Definitely try it out.
