We're first time visitors celebrating our twenty-fifth anniversary, will be staying at Luxor for four nights in late April, and will have a rental car. My partner is generally a vegetarian, but wants a good steak for our anniversary dinner. For health reasons, she can't indulge in gastronomic excesses, so a meal involving several courses isn't really an option. We're willing to spend up to around $250 for dinner that might include a couple of glasses of wine. We'd prefer a reasonably quiet and somewhat cozy atmosphere to a large and/or somewhat sterile space. Swan Court at Aureole sounds like the kind of place we'd enjoy.
A three course dinner seems as if it would be a perfect choice. I checked menus, including some prix fixe choices, at several restaurants, including Auerole, Stripsteak, Carnevivo, Charlie Palmer, Tender at Luxor, about which I've seen virtually no information on the Vegas board, along with other options. The choices are mindboggling. Is Tender decent enough to warrant a visit for a special occasion dinner? While my partner can't devour an entire large cut of beef alone, she generally prefers the flavor of a strip steak to that of a cut she can manage alone (think petit filet). Do most restaurants welcome sharing of entrees?
Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance.
