OK I'm making a fish and lobster gratin, it calls for seafood stock....last minute find out a guest has a senstivity to shrimp (but lobster and clams are is ok) so I'm going to use a vegetable stock combined wth clam juice. The meal is very soon and I'm in a jam.
So what is the best comercial vegetable stock out there??
I have Kitchen Basics and Imagine brands of vegetable stock & Trader Joes and Imagine Vegetable Broth in the pantry. I think the stocks will work better but which one???
