Our third trip to Thali over the same number of years was not the charm. Acrid raita, non-descript curries, watery coriander sauce, dried-out halwa, spinach the texture of baby food with cut-up canned tiny corn. Even the water was terrible. The place, however, was jammed at 7PM on a Tuesday. Is there another thali place in NYC or should we just go to Queens?
