We tried Thelma's early last week for lunch, and it was very good. (read my previous review)
Today we went for breakfast, and we were equally impressed, once again everything we ordered was very good, and this time the service was very good too.
Smoked Salmon Plate, excellent presentation, very fresh smoked salmon, served with a tomato napoleon, cream cheese, and white toast, I honestly can eat this everyday.
Huevos Rancheros, served with made to order fried tortillas, refried beans and a slice of fresh cheese, and a great salsa. Also very good.
We also had an order of fruit crepes, filled with a very light cream cheese (?), topped with mango and strawberry coulis, fresh berries, and mango slices which were caramelized brulee style, very good, and again a very nice presentation.
Unlimited refills of coffee!
We will be back!
Chef Luis Diaz, was cooking again, and you can tell that he has very high standards.
Chef Diaz is the former executive chef from Wolfgang Puck's Chinois on Main.
I think we are very lucky to have his restaurant in our valley!!
