London is probably one of the easiest places to do Thanksgiving abroad. I have never been more thankful for the mini whole foods around the corner. I have to work on Thursday, but will come home early to finish off the cooking. Chestnuts seem quite plentiful. I m roasting a chicken instead of a turkey because I prefer chicken and a turkey wont fit in the under counter cabinet. I dont have a pie tin, so Ive been ooggling alternative recipes: pumpkin whoopie pies, apple tarts, etc. The cranberry sauce is now made, the sausage and bacon for the stuffing is fried. I have bread drying in the oven in preparation for the stuffing. How are you coping? What are you planning?
