This restaurant is located at Club Tapiz which is a lovely, upscale small boutique hotel in the middle of wine country. It's a fairly small restaurant with high ceilings, nicely decorated with great atmosphere. The service was very attentive - our server saw that I was particularly interested in their olive oil and arranged for an impromptu tasting of several of their oils. I came away with an amazing bottle that cost only $8!
Now the food: this is a foodie restaurant - the cuisine is very creative and there is a huge focus on fresh ingredients. I had the baby goat as my main entree, their house specialty, and let me tell you I still think about how delicious it was to this day. The wine selection, largely from the Club Tapiz vineyards, was excellent - we settled on a lovely bottle of Zolo reserve Malbec.
All in all this was one of our most enjoyable and memorable meals in Mendoza - we will definitely return!
