Terroir la Cachette - Niagara-on-the-Lake

I just had a terrific lunch at Terroir la Cachette, the restaurant at Strewn Winery on Lakeshore Road in NOTL. I had a simple provencale tart with chevre, caramelized onions and red peppers, and my companion had a beautiful, fluffy omlette. Both were served with a side salad of mixed greens and a light cream dressing, and superb bread. Dessert was a maple creme brulee. All the food was magnificent. The service was attentive and friendly, and the 1/2 litre of their 2000 Cabernet Franc was good enough to warrant a stop at their wine boutique on the way out ($14.95/btl). We ate outside on their lovely terrasse, overlooking the 4-mile Creek. With taxes and tip, lunch was about $70.
