Day 8 of operation for Telegraph who took over the Mama Buzz Cafe space featuring housemade sausage sandwiches.
Display case by the counter with Pepple's donuts (organic, vegan) and bagels to provide their limited breakfast options. Still has the art gallery thing going on the back room. New side patio with picnic tables which will be great on warm days / nights. I overheard them saying they're building out a full kitchen in back.
Six housemade sausages ranging from Bahn [sic] Mi (coconut green curry pork with paté, cilantro, pickled carrots) to Whiskey Fennel to Wild Boar & Pear are $8-9 and come with chips. They also have a Grilled Cheese Sandwich or a Green Bean Sandwich for the meat-a-phobic.
Firestone IPA in a kegerator and other bottles are available.
The Wild Boar & Pear comes with caramelized onions and creamy coleslaw. It was a bit of a mess to eat (coleslaw juice was dripping everywhere), but delicious. The slaw had a mild spiciness from some jalepeno slices.
Very friendly staff. Can't wait to go back and try some of the other options.
