I'll be in Manhattan this June for two short weekdays (Thursday and Friday). Our evenings are already quite busy, but I have to get my dining fix in. Last time I was in town, I was able to snag a lunch reservation at EMP, where they do the full tasting menu, and I was very happy with that. Most restaurants on my short list, however, either don't serve lunch at all (e.g. Atera) or have an abbreviated business-lunch style format (e.g., Jean-Georges).
What great restaurants besides EMP offer a tasting menu during the day on a weekday? I'm open to other kinds of experiences besides tasting menus, to be sure, but this is likely to be my only trip to Manhattan for the next year or two, so I am looking for something pretty special. Budget is not much of a concern, and I haven't eaten anywhere in Manhattan besides EMP and Jungsik.
Thanks for your help!
