Amigos y amigas, I am familiar with the Americanized version of Mexican food that has long been popular in the U.S.
But I am clueless about true Mexican food that is now available in taquerias that are opening in the South. I looked inside one yesterday that was closed and the menu was in Spanish.
Anybody know of a primer on taqueria food? Or anybody have any recommendations on what to try or avoid?
Any tips would be appreciated.
