hey has anyone tried this place yet? it's in the little olympic plaza, on cental ave., right by the tj maxx. there's a grocery right next to it by the same name. anyway, went there last friday to pick up some dinner. it was empty in there, but it was only around 4:45 or so...they have a huge menu, friendly people (the girl working behind the counter let me try their horchata-yummy and the cantaloupe juice, which was sweet and good). i ended up ordering a shrimp burrito, which i think is funny, cuz i dont think burritos are examples of authentic mexican food. but it was HUGE, seriously 2 people could eat from it, and delicious. it was expensive for taqueria prices i thought ($9 + tax), but worth it. the shrimps were nice size, cooked in white wine, so the menu says and fresh. plus, they put a crazy amount of ingredients in there: yellow rice, black beans, shredded cheese, avocado, jalapeno, tomato, i think a little guac too and some hot sauce. i could have whatever beans i wanted too, i thought that was a nice twist. don't forget the salsa verde! anyway, just wanted to spread the word, cuz there are like no good burrito places around, and i crave them from time to time. cant wait to go back!
