Anyone know of this place? A friend wrote me to recommend Soochow, on Rte. 46 in Saddle River. He recommends, among other things:

* salted pork chops with cilantro (crispy and tangy)
* "three bowl chicken" cooked in basil (very oily, but so flavorful, who cares?)
* fish wrapped in seaweed (a Shanghainese dish originally that has to be ordered off the menu and runs a pricey $25-- and worth every cent)
* kong xin cai (literally "empty heart vegetable," sometimes translated as "water spinach") stir-fried in garlic and oil and wonderful
* winter melon soup with ham (take that, hot & sour soup!)
