I thought Taiwan Point was doing pretty well on Irving. Haven't been in the area almost a month, and went there yesterday for groceries. Noticed that the restaurant has gone, and in its place is a new restaurant called Jook n' Fun.
Perhaps that location is bad feng shui or something, because now this is the 3rd or 4th business in the same location. Prior to Taiwan Point, I remember a Vietnamese restaurant used to occupy that space, and the food there was really good.
The spot next to Taiwan point has changed also. Used to be a HK style cafe. Either they changed management or they re-did the whole restaurant. Basically serving similar fare.
