It's on Sawtelle. Was walking by the place on my way to Clusi Batusi (the alfredo there, BTW, is excellent). Had a decent line coming out the door when we first passed it. Barely a line at all around 9PM or so (although a decent crowd sitting outside).
Decor is very "hip" (lots of wood and vintage items buffed to a nice shine).
The cashier said the place was a catering business, then 2 food trucks, and then finally a brick-and-mortar store. The menu is quite confusing (mainly b/c of the way it's organized). Some of it appears to be on the wall, some of it looks like it's on fridge. They have multiple version of their "famous" bread pudding, a cookie, two brownies (a "regular" version and a "sluttiest" version w/ "5 layers of sin"), and some other stuff that I didn't pay much attention to.
The size of the baked goods is GIGANTIC. The large cookie is probably the same size as a Pizza Hut personal pizza. The brownies are also large (though not as big as the large cookie). Prices seemed to be somewhere btw $5-9 dollars.
We settled for the "fudgiest brownie" + a scoop of vanilla ice cream (the only flavor). Cashier offered to warm it (yes, please). $6 total.
It wasn't that fudgy. But, thankfully, it also wasn't too sweet and was plesantly simple. The ice cream is... average? But none of it anywhere close to bad. I'd say it similar to what an above average home baker could create. But, you know, for $6, it was just fine. Wouldn't make a special trip out for it, but if you're walking by and have the hankering for something sweet, you could do far worse, I think.
