Headed to a celebratory dinner at Sushi Samba the other night and had one of the most enjoyable dinners in ages. We had a mix of ceviches, sushi and something I cant' quite recall - tostitos maybe - it was sashimi in a citrus base. Standouts included a very fresh uni (sea urchin), terrfic ceviches, particularly tuna, as well as the best unagi (eel) I've had in a long while. The six-seaweed salad was fresh and tasty. The grilled spicy shrimp appetizers were good once you finished you're peeling struggle. Also, the specialty cocktails were a perfect beginning. And the price was right - not too expensive and worth every penny. The only dissapointment was the panna cotta and mango coulis, which was bland, though the sorbets (passion fruit, campari and something, and guava) were interesting.
