I'm not sure if this topic counts or if it should be in general interest, so I'll take a chance and post it here anyway.
Which supermarket chain has the best quality hot and ready to eat take-out food in your opinion?
I think Sudbury Farms (owned by Roche Brothers I think) is the best with a staggering quantitiy and quality of choices.
Whole foods has an interesting variety (Indian appetizers, comfort foods, etc.) but the meal I had- Mac & Cheese and corn bread wasn't that great in my opinion.
Super Stop & Shop doesn't have that varied a menu and their heated entrees are basically fried or roasted chicken. The meals you have to reheat are just o.k.
Who do the rest of you prefer?
