OK, I had a tiny sample of chocolate flan at Amada last night. Extremely good, but I want MORE super-rich eggy flan, without having to spend the $$$$ for the meal beforehand.
Do any of the S Phila tacquerias have a GOOD rich authentic flan? I've only tried the one at La Lupe a few years ago and it was Goya (or Goya-like) light with no egg. And there seem to be 5-10 new places that I haven't had a chance to go into at all.
The best flan I've had in the Philly area is at Coyote Crossing in Conshy. Super-rich, dense, great vanilla and caramel flavor.
