Verdict: Good, but not exceptional.

Risotto: decidedly mediocre
Gazpacho: OK but nowhere as good as you get in Spain
Veal tenderloin with brisket ravioli: very good
Salmon: so-so
Berry crumble: good, but nothing noteworthy
Panna cotta – this was great. The best dish of the night.

Service: cordial

Surprise: The dining room is surprisingly plain and not as fancy as I expected in a restaurant of this type. Also, the place was 1/3 empty.

Annoyance: Only 1. They charged me $16 for a Mojito. That’s outrageous. Especially compared to a gin and tonic which was only $6.50.

Conclusion. It was a nice meal but it would not entice me to return and pay their regular price for a regular meal. I’ve the same or better far cheaper elsewhere.
