My nephew, a sophomore music major, will be touring in France with his
college choir this May. He appreciates good food and is an adventuresome
eater, even considering culinary school at one point.
Although I have been to all the places they are visiting, it has been many
years for some of them and his food budget is much less generous than ours
Therefore, I am looking for suggestions for reasonable and authentic
food in places that are tourist friendly but not a tourist "traps". He has
studied Spanish but not French so language might be a consideration.
They will be free for a lot of the lunches and most dinners. Stops will
include Nice, Monaco, Cannes, Avignion, Aix-en-Provence, Beaune and
Paris (three days).
