On a recent trip to London, Mrs. Webhund became addicted to the wonderful hot punch made with 3 parts apple cider to 1 part "Pimm's Winter" (which is also called "Pimm's No. 3). My googling has discovered that, unlike Pimm's No. 1, which is a gin-based liquor, Pimm's No. 3 is a brandy-based drink with cinnamon, orange, and caramel.
Alas, Pimm's No. 3 is not exported to "the Colonies," so I'm going to have to come up with my own substitute. The orange and cinnamon I can handle, but the caramel has got me stumped.
Any suggestions for a Pimm's No. 3 substitute recipe?
