on the subject of best, what about best ramen house?

i went to katsu on monday, and while i was perusing the menu, i noticed that it served butter ramen for twelve dollars. while the fish is definitely worth the money, i highly doubt any bowl of butter ramen should be that much. has anyone tried the ramen there (of curiosity was the spicy crab ramen, a deal next to the butter at fourteen dollars)?

which brings me to the real issue - is chicago not a ramen town? my cursory search through chowhound has not turned up much. i don't even have to have a japanese place (one of my favorite places in l.a. was korean). any help would be greatly appreciated.
