I tried a few new ways for me of stuffing fresh grape leaves. First I tried Darren72's suggestion of stuffing leaves with goat cheese, a basil leave, and roasted red pepper. I grilled this slowly away from the coals for a little bit and they were excellent, we couldn't stop eating them. I really liked this version and plan on serving them this weekend at a cookout. Next I tried Rabaja's version with a small piece of salmon, s&p, evoo, and lemon zest. I rolled some with small tender leaves so I could eat whole, and some with larger leaves that I unwrapped and ate just the piece of fish. this was excellent too, and I can't wait to try it with sardines.
