So... my partner and I are heading to Miami for one day post-Thanksgiving, and we want to stuff ourselves silly with a variety of (mostly) cheap eats.
Here's what we're considering:
1. Before noon, we plan to go to the Rubell Family Collection to view some art, and I was thinking of hitting El Bodegon Gallego for some cheap tapas. Anyone been? Other alternatives are Casa Panza or Las Delicias del Mar Peruano. We're looking for some seafood (and more) prepared Spanish-style.
2. After the art viewing, want to get some Cubano sandwiches. There seem to be good places on Calle Ocho (El Pub, El Rey las Fritas, and Versailles), but The New York Times and NWA World Traveler magazine recommended:
a) El Palacio de los Jugos - appeals because we want to have some exotic juices
b) Latin American Cafeteria
3. After time touring/beaching, dinner at Hy-Vong for Vietnamese - realizing that we best get there early to avoid a long wait.
Any thoughts on this feeding frenzy? Anything to add or subtract? All thoughts welcomed... thanks!
