8 of us ate last night at Studiokitchen and had an absolutely fabulous meal (we got together at the DDC dinner in North Wales) -- started with carrot soup with scallop tartare (scallop, seasoned with Meyer lemon, was fabulous) followed by the corn souffle that Rich previously described - and that was excellent as well - everybody-s favorite until the dessert came!
The main course was halibut with a fennel and apple chocroute - excellent - and the dessert was a banana bread pudding with tangerine buttermilk sorbet - absolutely wonderful. Everything was light and guilt-free in addition to being delicious!
After dessert Shola offered coffee or tea - several varieties - and some hard candies. We sat around talking with Shola after the meal about his life and his restaurant plans. I'd love to go back!
