Had a fantastic time in Vegas this weekend. One of the highlights was our Sunday,
Mother's day brunch at Bally's -The Sterling Brunch which is converted from their Steakhouse on Sundays.
Wow! This was by far the best brunch I have had in Vegas...tops off Bellagio's buffett.
I didn't pay but the price is $65/person and worth every penny.
First of all, you did not feel like you were at a buffett. It was small and you didn't feel cramped at all. The setting was beautiful inside the steakhouse, but more importantly, the food was so delicious, so fresh, just amazing.
In the "cold" section, the had an assortment of fresh sushi, american caviar, smoked salmon, sturgeon, oysters, crab, shrimp...delicious side salads and of course, all the toppings you want on your salad...tons of fresh blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, cherries, kiwi, strawberries...asst of great cheeses...I'm sure I'm missing some stuff..
In the "hot" section, continuous flow of maine lobster (tons of this stuff)...salmon, smoked salmon and goat cheese omelettes(like crab cakes), cola braised hens, veggies w/mushroom risotto...hmm, what else? can't remember..
carving station -beef wellington YUMMY.., lamb chops? and a vegetable strudel..
also an omellette station..and of course a delicious dessert section w/fresh homemade vanilla ice cream, bananas foster, creme brulee, choc dipped macaroons, oreo choc covered strawberries...
This was the BEST brunch I have had in Vegas...top notch quality of ingredients, delicious food, and awesome service(lots of champagne btw)...
And I can't forget the delightful executive chef, Alfredo...Came to our table at the end of the meal to see how we were doing(party of 14)...Awesome chef, Awesome Brunch.
