Was watching the Emeril Chefology show tonight and they showed him with his first mentor- Inez De costa. I googled "St. John's Kitchen" and "Fall River" and only found this info contained in a newspaper article about the St. John's Club:
...The present site of the St. John's Club at 1365 Rodman St. was a bowling alley at the time.
"The St. John's Kitchen, known for its Portuguese food and fried seafood, is not managed by the club. The restaurant has been rented to Inez DeCosta for the past 30 years and is open to the public.
Any more info would be appreciated.
