Squaquerone? Piadini? Fritto Misto with Fruit?

After a trip to Italy and a few memorable meals in the Emilia-Romagna region, I'm wondering if it's possible to find any of those traditional favorites in Manhattan. Squaquerone is a fresh, delicate white cheese that can be served with piadini, a sandwich-sized fried bread. I'd also love to find a traditional fritto misto -- a plate of (surprisingly light and digestible) deep-fried foods. It's not too hard to find fritto misto with seafood, but I'm pining for the kind with meats and vegetables (especially squash blossoms and asparagus) and the dessert version with fried fruit and custard.
