Pulled pork slider seemed pretty good -- the pork has a lot more porky flavour than many I've had in the US, and the sauce is not bad, but the pork was a tad dry.
The beef and marrow slider had a solid beefy flavour, and the nice thin coat of savoury, nutty cheese.
Slaw was average -- I liked the veins of bitterness, but that seemed almost it, none of the balance of sweetness and creamy mayo that characterise ones that I like.
Enjoyed the soft shell crab very much - good deep frying - light and crispy, the aioli adding another rich layer.
Peanut butter and jelly dessert consisted of peanut butter ice cream cut into slabs, sandwiching some grape jelly, a classic interplay of fruit and nut. Won't blow away the gelati at nearby Gelupo or Scoop, but not bad by any means.
Fairly solid, in the realm of pretty good not great, and expensive for what it was. I've had comparable amounts of more enjoyable food, despite the apples and orange difference at Jose that were about 70% of the cost.
